My equestrian career began when I was 5 years old. The first tests in jumping and dressage on ponies and large horses followed soon after. At the age of 14 I won the first M-class, a year later I was victorious in the first S-class jumping test. This was followed, among other things, by winning the Bavarian championship, winning the Prize of the Best and top places at the German championships, as well as numerous successful starts at home and abroad. Also in versatility I was on the road all over Europe and successfully up to CCI ***.

My personal attitude towards dealing with the individual horse was largely shaped by the tireless efforts of my parents. Both were horse management masters and several times German and European champions, judges, trainers and examination committee members for professional equestrian training. Other trainers who accompanied me significantly included retired national trainer Herbert Meyer, Olympic bronze medallist Karsten Huck, Olympic champion Joe Fargis (USA), Olympic champion Claus Erhorn and national trainer Hans Melzer.

Almost at the same time as my examination to become a master horse manager (riding), I finished my degree in industrial engineering. Then I worked full-time in industry, most recently as a member of the plant management of an automotive supplier group. Nevertheless, the equestrian sport never let me go, so I gave lessons and courses almost every weekend and continued my education. In 2008 I decided to devote myself to what makes me happy: the professional training of rider and horse. I specialized in riding lessons and riding courses in the disciplines of jumping and eventing.

Particularly important to me are competent and at the same time motivating lessons as well as horse-friendly requirements (encouraging, but not overwhelming) through individual solution approaches.

I teach at many different riding facilities in the greater Munich area and Upper Bavaria. Since 2020 I can find more at the equestrian facilities Martinshof in Kirchstockach and the Waldhauser Hof in Sauerlach. If necessary, I am available all year round for courses / lessons on other facilities. The promotion of young people and basic work with beginners / young horses in all disciplines are very important to me, which I also fulfill as chairman of the Upper Bavarian Equestrian Association.
